Playing like one
drummer
"If there was a prize for hardest playing band, it could well have gone to the
Bronx-based New York Ancients Fife and Drum Band, led by Teresa Peragrini, who
maintained a marvelous marching consistency along the green painted line in the middle
of the avenue.
The band members hardly took a breath as they belted out everything from Dixie to
Roddy McCorley and Battle Cry of Freedom".

The quote above, we are pleased to note, recently appeared in The Irish Echo Newspaper.

Each year the New York Ancients host
a gathering of its members, family and
friends on the Saturday following
Thanksgiving.  November 30, 2013 was
no exception as drum corps friends
from far and wide gathered to enjoy
the festivities once again.  Click on

New York Ancients' business manager,
that appeared in the summer
